Today India emerged victorious in the 3rd t20I versus the Blackcaps in Hamilton. Virat Kohli's team created history by winning the first ever t20I series in New Zealand. Though there are 2 matches still left but we have already won 3 out of 5. Our batting performance was well up to the mark in every game. Not only the seniors but also the young stars have contributed towards the well being of the national team. Specially Rahul and Iyer gave a solid performance and ensured their spot in the playing 11. Our bowlers have also done well specially the spinners. Though the boundaries in new zealand are very short still we managed to bowl well in that kind of a wicket. 3rd t20 was a bad day for our champ bumrah but no matter what am sure he will come back strong in the upcoming matches. India batted first posing a par total of 179 on board. While chasing, the kiwi captain scored a mammoth innings of 95 but they could only drew the game which led to a super over. Bumrah bowled the super over and the kiwi gave us a target of 18 of 6 deliveries. As usual Rohit and Rahul opened the batting for us where the duo could only manage 8 runs in the first 4 balls of Tim Southee. The stage was set for a Hitman show to happen. Everybody was tensed. We could clearly see tension in Virat's eyes back in the dugout. 10 needed of two balls. But Rohit was calm and composed. He just tried to time the ball and so it happened. He hit two huge sixes out of the park to win it for his country. All the team mates greeted each other in ecstasy. Rohit was awarded the man of the match for this heroic deeds in the match and thus India first time won a t20I series in New Zealand creating history. Two more games are left and those boys who were sitting outside are going to be given a chance to showcase their talents in front of the whole world.
