Again a super over thriller

India strikes again in the super over gain in the 4th t02I. Thanks to Shardul Thakur for his amazing last over. In that immense pressure situation he managed to keep his nerves and bowl with a cool mind and thus he succeed in defending the total. But the main thing is New Zealand has a special hatred towards super overs. Every time they play a super over they could not win the match. The two games went into the super over but honestly speaking, New Zealand could have finished it before taking it onto the super overs. They had wickets in hand, they are experienced, it's their home conditions still they could not manage to win both the games. I'm not blaming the super over onto them, super over is always a 50-50 situation for both the teams. The main thing is in both the games they were in a complete winning situation but unfortunately they lost. Now coming to India's point of view, yes we have won both the games where we were in a losing condition, but our bowling in the ...

History created by our Indian team

Today India emerged victorious in the 3rd t20I versus the Blackcaps in Hamilton. Virat Kohli's team created history by winning the first ever t20I series in New Zealand. Though there are 2 matches still left but we have already won 3 out of 5. Our batting performance was well up to the mark in every game. Not only the seniors but also the young stars have contributed towards the well being of the national team. Specially Rahul and Iyer gave a solid performance and ensured their spot in the playing 11. Our bowlers have also done well specially the spinners. Though the boundaries in new zealand are very short still we managed to bowl well in that kind of a wicket. 3rd t20 was a bad day for our champ bumrah but no matter what am sure he will come back strong in the upcoming matches. India batted first posing a par total of 179 on board. While chasing, the kiwi captain scored a mammoth innings of 95 but they could only drew the game which led to a super over. Bumrah bowled the super o...

Review of Oneplus 7

Image
A snap on Oneplus 7 It was my dream to carry this brand since it's existence. Finally I bought Oneplus 7 last week. I must say, it's a beast. It's the best. The display looks awesome and the backside is alluring to view. I bought the 6-128 GB variant. It has the powerful snapdragon 855 octa core 2.8 GHz processor, which makes it a beast for ultra gaming experience. The 6 GB RAM ensures that our beauty never lags during extreme performance. It comes with the awesome Android 10 Oxygen Os. Oxygen Os is one of the best thing in the market. The interface it provides is just beyond words to explain. In short it makes the user interaction with the hardware and software of the phone very unique and beautiful. Coming to the camera, it has dual rear camera 48+5 ...

Do Messi deserved to win the 2019 Ballon do'r?

Image
As we all know last year on December, the master left foot, Lionel Messi won the Ballon do'r for the sixth time in his carrier. There is no doubt that he is an extraordinary player but did he really deserve the Ballon do'r this year? My answer is no. Apart from his team-wide triumphs in La Liga, Barcelona failed to live up to expectations over the past year. Argentina also didn't do well in Copa America, going 1-1-1 in group stage while scoring as many as goals as it allowed. Messi and company failed in the semis against the mighty Brasil by 2-0. Messi deserves every bit of credit for his role in shaping up the club team and leading Barcelona to win the league title. But he has failed in National team. He failed in UCL too. Again in the semis Barcelona lost by an aggregate of 4-3 to the defending champions. While Messi certainly doesn't bear much responsibility for his team's collapse defensively, he's culpable for Barcelona failing to score in Liverpool...

The NRC-CAA impact

The current central government comes up with a out of the box matter and succeeds in turning that out into an act. Yes I'm talking about the NRC CAB. It seeks to amend the definition of illegal immigrants for Hindu, Sikhs, Christian, Buddhist and Parsi immigrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, who have lived in India without documentation. Why so special treatment to the Muslims? Their faults? The thing now is the future of those people is dependent upon a mere piece of paper. Those people have to show a valid proof of them being a citizen of India. The act says it is only applicable to those who migrated to India after 31 December 2014. At present the major issue out here is our economy. The GDP rate is low. Unemployment is at its peak. In this situation if people from other nations keeps migrating to India the problem of both GDP and unemployment can never be solved. As the population keeps on increasing, demand for jobs also increases and hence the problem continue...

India producing quality pacers since a few years

Image
Over the past, India has struggled to produce quality fast bowlers. The reason for that? I think fitness was the major issue along with poor diet and lack of practice. Well, the craze for fitness was not there at that time. Time has changed now. The game demands more now. If you are not fit you can't play all the formats of the game. As we all know the climate here doesn't cope up with the fast bowlers. One more reason is the pitches out here are more spin favorable than pace. But recently India has succeeded in producing quality pacers. The prime reason for this kind of change is the mindset of the players which has changed a lot after watching our Captain, Virat Kohli's transformation. Everyone wants to play every format and in order to do so they have to be too much disciplined about there lifestyle. I mean fitness, diet, practice and enough sleep. Workload management is also a key factor. Our bowlers are so much concerned about their fitness these days which well refle...

M. S. Dhoni's future in Indian cricket

Image
After the 2019 world cup we have not seen Dhoni in blue colors. The news is he is keeping himself unavailable. But the question is will he retire now or will he come back? Few months back M.S.K Prasad said that they are moving on. While no one among the team members are uttering any word about this matter. So the big question still remain unanswered. But according to me, I think Dhoni will not return. It's over for him. It's time for the young stars to take charge. Being a Dhoni fan it's really disheartening not to see our champ on the pitch. We all know that Dhoni's campaign is finished now but every Dhoni fan wants a farewell game for him. While Sourav is in charge of the BCCI, this farewell also seems impossible to us. But on the contrary, Dhoni may not long for that one final farewell match of his life in blue shirts. I mean we all remember his retirement from tests. He took the decision overnight in Australia so perhaps he is not looking for that farewell. But he...
